Party tents are usually square or rectangular while pavilions can also be octagonal.
Octagonal pavilions usually have an Arabic flair, such as our ARABICA series. These tents are great for your garden oasis or for a theme party. It is very cozy in an octagonal tent and encourages partying and dancing.
A rectangular tent, on the other hand, is great for seating and setting up a buffet. Thanks to the shape, every centimeter can be used precisely.

Square marquee/pavilions in smaller sizes are very practical for smaller celebrations or storage of objects such as plants, whirlpool etc.

Pavilions without side panels have a roof, but do not provide complete protection in the event of a sudden change in weather. We generally recommend purchasing tents including side walls, as the entire set is cheaper on the one hand and a tent should generally remain closed in the wind on the other. So if you want to be on the safe side of not getting wet, just a roof is usually not enough.
All of our tents are 100% waterproof. However, they differ between sewn materials such as PE and polyester and welded PVC material. With a sewn material, unfortunately, it cannot be avoided that water could penetrate the seams during the first downpour. However, this is fixed after the first downpour as the seams swell. Alternatively, we offer a seam sealer for our tents with PE or polyester tarpaulin. This is simply applied to the seams. However, all of our PE tents and our polyester folding pavilions are also equipped with heat-sealed seams in the roof area and are therefore 100% waterproof here as well. Party tents with PVC tarpaulin are welded and always 100% waterproof. The material itself is reinforced with grid fiber, similar to a truck tarpaulin, and is UV-resistant.
Weight of the party tents
Of course, the size of the tent determines the weight. However, the material thickness in the frame and the tarpaulin thickness are also very important. Our party tents / pavilions are made of steel rods that are powder-coated. It can therefore be used immediately. As a rule, our tents have a high-quality push-button system (click system) and are therefore super easy and quick to set up. The material thickness in the poles varies from 1.1 mm to 1.7 mm, depending on the tent.
The tarpaulins also differ in weight. Our party tents with PE tarpaulin have a material thickness of 240 g / sqm while our PVC tarpaulins vary from 400-550 g / sqm. The polyester tarpaulins are 280 - 330 g / sqm thick, depending on the type of tent. All tarpaulin materials are 100% waterproof. A PE tent with the same dimensions can weigh up to 20 kilos less than a PVC tent of the same size.
As a rule, higher quality tents weigh more than the simpler ones, as these are made for higher loads or standing times. You will find that our tents are generally heavier than many of our competitors' tent types. We process significantly more material. Of course, this is reflected in the quality of our products.
Easy assembly of a party tent / pavilion
Depending on how quickly your tent should be used, it is important to compare which type of tent you need. It is generally recommended to pitch a tent with at least two people.
Up to a certain size you can pitch a tent on your own - but you need a little more time and patience.
Alternatively, a folding pavilion can also be set up by one person. The corner bars are pulled away from each other until all locking bolts engage. Your gazebo will be ready in a few minutes.
Regardless of whether it is a party tent or a pavilion. The larger, the more difficult it is to set up a tent on its own. In general, the roof construction of party tents / pavilions must be installed first. Then the roof is raised and, last but not least, the legs are installed. Of course, extras such as a base frame for better stability cannot be ruled out.
